Are you a compassionate and committed Support Worker with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people? Velox Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated Support Workers across the Devon area, including Exeter, Taunton, Exmouth, Torquay, and Plymouth to provide high-quality, person-centred care to Children and Young People (CYP) in structured residential or community-based settings.

Your Role
- Provide emotional and practical support to young people
- Encourage positive behaviour and personal development
- Maintain detailed daily logs and reports
- Communicate effectively with your team, management, and external agencies
- Work a mix of long and short shifts, including days and nights, depending on the needs of the Child or Young Person.
Requirements
- The Right to Work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
- 6+ months UK experience in a similar CYP setting
- 3 references (2 professional, 1 character)
- An in-date Physical Intervention Certificate (Or willing to undertake Team Teach Level 2)
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
Note: We are particularly interested in candidates who are drivers, as we have regular transport shifts available in the area. Flexibility is essential as some CYPs require a mix of both long and short shifts, including evenings and weekends.
