The RoleAs a CYP Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. You will encourage independence, promote positive outcomes, and provide consistent care in a structured and supportive setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred support
Building trusting and positive relationships with young people
Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills
Maintaining accurate daily records and reports
Working collaboratively with colleagues, the Care Management Team, and external professionals
Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behavioural support at all times
We offer a variety of flexible shift patterns, including:
Day shifts
Night shifts
Long shifts
Short shifts
Sleepins
We're particularly interested in candidates who can offer flexibility across different shift patterns to meet the needs of the young people we support.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
The Right to Work in the UK
A minimum of 6 months' UK experience supporting Children and Young People or within a similar care setting
Three references (2 professional and 1 character)
An in-date PMVA or Team Teach certificate (or willingness to complete Team Teach training if PMVA trained)
An Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
