Senior Residential Support Worker Ellie's Place Ltd | Earley, Reading Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) Plus: Sleep-in payments, overtime and career progression opportunities Lead, Support and Inspire Ellie's Place is a new children's home supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are looking for experienced, passionate and child focused Senior Residential Support Workers to help lead shifts, support colleagues and create a safe, nurturing home where young people can thrive. Your Role Lead shifts and support the day to day running of the home Build positive relationships with young people Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Support education, independence and life skills Mentor and support Residential Support Workers Liaise with families, social workers and other professionals Complete and oversee high quality records and reports Safeguard and advocate for young people at all times What We're Looking For Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting Ability to lead by example and support colleagues Strong communication and organisational skills Calm, resilient and child-centred approach Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and sleep ins Full UK driving licence (preferred) Essential Requirements Aged 21+ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Experience within residential childcare Enhanced DBS check Right to work in the UK What We Offer Competitive salary Sleep-in payments Ongoing training and development Opportunities to progress into Deputy and Management roles Supportive leadership team Opportunity to help shape a brand new service from the beginning Safeguarding Ellie's Place is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
