Requirements:

• Valid NMC Registration
• Minimum 6 months recent NHS ITU/ICU experience
• Competent in caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and support
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorships offered)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care to critically ill and complex patients within the Intensive Therapy Unit
• Monitor, assess, and respond appropriately to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Manage and maintain advanced life support equipment, including ventilators and invasive monitoring devices
• Administer medications, infusions, and critical care treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, anaesthetists, critical care teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC, Trust, and CQC standards
• Support patients and their families with compassionate communication during challenging and often critical situations
• Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding, and clinical governance policies at all times
