We are seeking an Industrial Painter and Powder Coater. This is a full-time position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication. The job consists of some prepping, powder coating, and finishing. Must have at least 2 years of powder coat experience.
Shift: 1st Shift available
Pay: $24-27 based on experience
Health insurance available after 90 days of employment. PTO is offered during the first 30 days of employment. Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8-10 hours per day and some Saturdays. Overtime available. Weekly pay!
Job Duties of Industrial Painter:
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre-treatment.
- Apply powder coating materials to a variety of fabricated parts using spray equipment.
- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ovens, and spray guns.
- Ensure proper curing of coated parts by monitoring oven temperatures and bake times.
- Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to company standards.
- Touch up, rework, or recoat parts when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with material handling, hanging, and packaging of finished products.
- Collaborate with production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
Job Requirements for Industrial Painter:
- Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
- Familiarity with spray equipment, curing ovens, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
