We’re part of IHG Hotels and Resorts and are excited to announce an opportunity for a Part-Time Night Manager at our Newcastle location, which features 170 comfortable rooms.

The Role
As the Night Manager, you will oversee hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring guest experience and maintaining hotel security. You’ll also act as the Finance & Business Support representative, responsible for various financial tasks, including:
- Conducting the Night Audit process, ensuring accuracy in posting all hotel revenue and producing a complete night audit report.
- Balancing accounts and cashier's accounts at the end of each day.
- Ensuring adherence to cash security procedures and maintaining efficient internal control to prevent theft or fraud.
- Supporting the Hotel Manager and Finance Assistant in managing revenue and expenses, and conducting financial analysis of hotel performance.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Opera or similar PMS.
- Audit and accounting experience.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
- A professional demeanor and a can-do attitude.
- Sound judgment and the ability to make calm, collected decisions under pressure.
- A willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate and a NSW RSA Certificate if you don’t already have them.
