Oracle Apex Developer

Pro Global have an exciting opportunity to join a growing team as an Oracle Apex Developer. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Location: Flexible/ Hybrid. Most colleagues come to their local offices every so often to collaborate, onboard and enjoy the social environment. We are open to where you and how much you come to the office as long as you can do your job and thrive in the right environment.

The projects you will be working on are very varied and often involve working with colleagues overseas in multi-disciplined teams. We are therefore looking for an individual who is a self-starter with good communication skills and an enthusiasm for problem solving.

As an Oracle APEX Developer you'll be responsible for the following:

• Delivering reliable, scalable and performant solutions using Oracle APEX.
• Engaging in the full systems development lifecycle undertaking business analysis, requirements capture, design, development, implementation and testing where required.
• Support with maintenance and improvement of existing APEX applications and support team members during deployments.
• Identifying improvement opportunities to drive business efficiency and innovation.

Key requirements:

• Fluent in English (Spanish and German would be advantageous but not essential)
• A Minimum of 2 years’ experience and proven Oracle database skills i.e., Relational Database design, SQL and PL/SQL, working with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, constraints and materialised views
• Recent experience of developing Oracle PL/SQL projects from initiation through to implementation, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, debugging, etc.
• RESTful Web/Data Services is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Linux (Redhat) would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Oracle Generative AI / OCI functions would be beneficial
• Knowledge of general mobile landscape, architecture, trends and emerging technologies is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of Git, Java, JavaScript and CSS is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of Copilot or an equivalent AI-based development support technology is advantageous but not essential
