This is an opportunity to join an evolving and growing Exposure Management (Aggs) team at Pro Global. The Senior Exposure Management Account Manager will be integral in support of the Operations Manager. The successful applicant will provide expert guidance and technical leadership in exposure management for energy insurance portfolios (onshore, offshore, and renewables). The role focuses on client service delivery, pricing, business development, data cleansing, compliance, strategic advisory, and governance to enhance operational resilience. This role will be working on a hybrid approach, with time split between home and one of our offices on a weekly basis. We have UK office locations in Gloucester, London, Glasgow, Horsham and Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret complex energy insurance data (upstream, downstream, renewables).
- Examination and interpretation of policy documents to extract appropriate data.
- Responsibility around client communications, leading interactions and query resolutions.
- Creation and maintenance of data within client’s systems e.g. application of policy terms and conditions.
- Use of client modelling software (e.g. RiskLink, TouchStone, Sequel Impact) to upload cleansed files and run Natural Catastrophe models.
- Quality assurance of cleansed or modelled files.
- Identification, interpretation, analysis and remediation of process inefficiencies.
- Creation and/or maintenance of client reporting packs and management information, supported by PowerPoint reports where required.
- Responsibility for training and mentoring of colleagues.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support retention and new business growth.
Management Oversight
- Supporting the Operations Manager across the Exposure Management Energy portfolio.
- Establishing and overseeing exposure management teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency and adherence to SLAs.
- Provide leadership in process improvement and resource allocation.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Lead governance meetings with clients to review performance, compliance and strategic objectives.
- Contract monitoring, support or reviews.
- Onboarding new business, introducing workflows and standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring KPIs and delivering performance reports to senior management.
- Attending and networking at industry conferences.
- Collaborating with automation/RPA teams to streamline delivery and support tech development.
Skills and Experience
- Advanced knowledge of energy insurance markets (onshore, offshore, renewables) is essential.
- Expertise in data cleansing and exposure management.
- Comfortable with loss modelling schemes such as RMS and AIR.
- Familiar with modelling or aggregation systems such as Sequel Impact, Risk Link, Touchstone and/or Exact Advantage.
- Ability to identify, interpret and apply complex contract information such as deductibles and sub limits.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and other Microsoft Office tools is desirable.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Experience with automation tools and digital transformation projects.
- Strong investigative nature and ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to identify and articulate current or potential problems and present/discuss potential solutions.
- Ability to deliver accurate information with a logical and analytical mindset.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet client requirements.
- An understanding of operational management processes and business requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support and share knowledge with colleagues.
- A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
