Reinsurance Technical Analyst in Liverpool

Pro currently has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Analyst to work with a specific Client within our Insurance Services team, specialising in the processing of reinsurance accounts. This role is a permanent position, working on a hybrid contract with 3 days a week in our Gloucester or Liverpool offices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the technical processing of Reinsurance accounts and will have a blend of skills as an insurance and reinsurance analyst and experience in Reinsurance processing.

Responsibilities include:

· Processing Reinsurance accounts

· Processing tasks accurately in an efficient manner by month end deadlines

· Investigating any discrepancies between calculated Premiums and instructions received from the client

· Service delivery to specified client

· Identify and escalate any issues impacting service performance

· Resolve issues internally and support resolutions externally

Skills and Experience

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Strong technical (re)insurance knowledge and skills

· Excellent working knowledge of London Market systems and procedures

· Ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines

· Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential

· Excellent communication skills

· Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with Clients and colleagues
