Pro-Found are looking to recruit a 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client based in Killamarsh, S21.
7.5 Tonne Driver Benefits:
- Pay: £14 per hour plus overtime rates
- Location: Killamarsh, S21
- Hours: 7am to finish (core hours 7am to 4pm) - flexibility required
- Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
- Some overnight stays - fully expensed by the client
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract: Temporary ongoing
7.5 Tonne Driver Role:
Required to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle, delivering and installing outdoor furniture to locations around the UK.
7.5 Tonne Driver Duties:
- Driving 7.5 tonne vehicle - vehicle has to be left on site so you will need your own transport to get to and from Killamarsh
- Basic installation of furniture, benches, tables, planters and booth seating
- Using hand tools
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods
- Handling driver dockets, paperwork & cash
- Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling
- Daily checking of delivery vehicles
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Must be flexible with hours
- Strong work ethic
- Be able to work using own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be a team player
7.5 Tonne Driver Criteria:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Valid CPC with category entitlement
- No more than 3 points on driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar delivery role is essential
- Willingness to work on site as well as drive
- Strong customer service skills
- No unspent convictions as the role requires a basic DBS check
