We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Machinist to join our clients growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in both CNC and manual machining to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Select and install tooling, fixtures and machine accessories
- Load and run CNC programs to manufacture parts to specification
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining and assembly issues with engineering and production teams
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' machining experience
- Experience operating both CNC and manual machinery
- Strong understanding of machine shop practices and machining techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- HNC qualification or engineering apprenticeship desirable
