Pro-Found Recruitment are looking for Tapers & Inspectors to join our client based in Rotherham, working at the end of the assembly line. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance and attendance.

Taper & Inspector Benefits:

  • Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm & Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm
  • Start Date: 7th September 2026
  • Rate of Pay: £13.83 per hour
  • Hours: 39 hours per week, paid weekly
  • Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance and attendance
  • Location: Rotherham, S60

Taper & Inspector Duties:

  • Working at the end of the assembly/production line
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards
  • Checking products for any defects, damage or imperfections
  • Taping and preparing finished products ready for dispatch
  • Carrying out visual quality checks
  • Ensuring products are correctly finished and presented
  • Following production and quality procedures
  • Working to daily production targets
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working area
  • Working both independently and as part of a team
  • Reporting any quality issues or defects to the relevant team member

Taper & Inspector Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or quality inspection environment is preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good hand-to-eye coordination
  • Able to carry out repetitive tasks
  • Hard working, reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instructions and production processes
  • Good work ethic and a willingness to learn
  • Able to work to production and quality targets
  • Previous experience of working on a production/assembly line would be advantageous

Please note this is a physically demanding role and requires regular standing and manual handling as part of the day-to-day duties.
