Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Machine Operator working on a 3 shift rotation for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.
Machine Operator Benefits:
- Rotating over 3 shifts - Days 6am to 2pm, Afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am - these shifts rotate each week so you must be able to work all 3 shifts
- Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: Monday 10th November 2025 - Interviews to be held on Thursday 6th November 2025
- Pay Rates: £15.75 for days and afters & £16.76 for nights
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent subject to performance and attendance
- Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72
Machine Operator Duties:
- Working on line automation
- Operating and loading machinery
- Quality checking of materials and finished products
- Working with wood and heavy worktops
- Following instructions
- General Housekeeping
- Working on your own and as part of a team
- Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
Machine Operator Criteria:
- Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essential
- CNC or machine operating experience preferred
- Able to work 3 rotating shifts - days, afters & nights
- Hard working, reliable and punctual
- Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties.
