Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions are looking to recruit a Goods In/Warehouse Operative for our client based in Normanton, WF6.Goods In/Warehouse Operative Benefits:Fixed Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm39 hours per weekPaid weeklyPay Rate: £13.83 per hourContract: Temporary ongoingLocation: Normanton, WF6Start Date: ASAPGoods In/Warehouse Operative Duties:Working within the Goods In department, receiving and checking incoming deliveriesChecking goods against delivery paperwork and ensuring items are recorded accuratelyComputer-based administration, including updating stock records and processing warehouse informationPicking large and heavy items ready for dispatchPacking and securely taping items ready for dispatchHandling large wooden items, cabinets and white goodsLoading and unloading goods safelyChecking items for accuracy and conditionFollowing instructions and warehouse proceduresMeeting daily production and warehouse targetsMaintaining a clean and organised working environmentWorking independently and as part of a teamCarrying out regular manual handling throughout the working dayGoods In/Warehouse Operative Criteria:Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essentialPrevious Goods In or computer-based warehouse experience would be advantageousComfortable using a computer and learning new warehouse systemsHard-working, reliable and punctualExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow instructions and work to set proceduresGood work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsAble to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPhysically capable of carrying out regular manual handling dutiesPlease note: This is a physically demanding warehouse role which involves regular manual handling of large and heavy items.
