Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Louth for a skilled engineer to join their engineering team on a temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement activities.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime.
- Recording maintenance work using the maintenance management system.
- Conducting root cause analysis to reduce recurring breakdowns.
- Supporting engineering projects and managing contractors where required.
Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- Mitsubishi PLC and steam generation experience would be advantageous.
- A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND or equivalent).
Rotating days and afternoons shift pattern. Temporary contract with an immediate start available - potential of temp to perm. Opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturing business.
