Looking for a fresh challenge or interested in learning a skilled trade? Pro-Found Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Paint Sprayer on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Sheffield.

Shift Details:

  • Night Shift: Monday to Thursday
  • Monday to Wednesday: 8:00pm – 6:00am
  • Thursday: 8:30pm – 6:00am

Please note: Initial training will take place on day shifts for several weeks before moving onto nights.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Β£12.71 – Β£13.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Additional Β£15.34 night shift allowance per shift worked
  • Weekly pay
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent contract
  • Immediate starts available following a successful face-to-face interview

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing timber products ready for the spraying process
  • Sanding, priming, and top coating products to a high standard
  • Using water-based paints and stains
  • Operating air-assisted spray guns
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Working efficiently to production deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Criteria:

  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn a new skill
  • Be reliable, punctual, and able to commit to night shifts
  • Have good attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Be able to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
  • Have previous experience within manufacturing, production, woodworking, spraying, or labouring environments (preferred but not essential)
  • Be physically fit due to the nature of the role
