Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy door manufacturing company based in Sheffield, S9.

- Hours: Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm - 37.5 hours per week
- Contract: Temp to Perm

The Role
- Operating a spindle moulder and other woodworking machinery
- Machining timber and door components to the required specifications.
- Setting and adjusting machinery to achieve accurate results.
- Reading and working from measurements, drawings and job specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating a spindle moulder preferred but not essential as will consider someone with some machine operating experience
- Experience as a wood machinist within a door manufacturing, joinery or woodworking environment preferred
- Good understanding of woodworking machinery, tooling and machining processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
