Final Inspection Operatives

Pay & Benefits: £13.51 per hour + 12.5% Shift Allowance

Location: Sheffield S9

Days & Afters – Monday to Thursday, 37.5 per week

Shifts – Days: 6am to 4pm & Afters: 12 noon to 10pm

Contract: Permanent

Immediate starts available. We are recruiting 3 Final Inspection Operatives on behalf of our prestigious manufacturing client in Sheffield. These are fantastic opportunities to join a well‑established company producing high‑quality products within the medical manufacturing sector.

This role works on a rotating 2‑shift pattern (Mornings & Afternoons), so applicants must be able to work both shifts.

The Role

Duties

  • Carrying out detailed visual inspections of manufactured components.
  • Performing dimensional and gauge checks.
  • Identifying and reporting defects.
  • Following work instructions and quality procedures.
  • Completing production and inspection paperwork accurately.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
  • Working as part of a busy production team to achieve quality and production targets.

We're Looking For

  • Previous quality inspection, production, or manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain concentration during repetitive inspection tasks.
  • Comfortable handling components and lifting trays weighing up to 15kg.
  • Reliable, flexible and having a positive attitude.
  • Can work a rotating mornings and afternoons shift pattern.
