We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client’s growing bespoke manufacturing team in Newark. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and highly organised workshop producing high-end bespoke cabinetry and furniture.
Benefits
- Full-time permanent position
- 40‑hour working week Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
- Half day finish every Friday
- Overtime available
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Main Duties
- Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
- Machining timber and manufactured boards accurately
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
- Using woodworking machinery and workshop equipment
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Supporting assembly and production where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Working to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Candidate Requirements
- Previous CNC machining experience within joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience using woodworking machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bench joinery experience advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
