Our client, a leading provider of engineered drilling solutions, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Operator / Programmer to join their growing team in Mansfield. The Role:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality drill components and precision-engineered parts. You will work from technical drawings, ensure quality standards are maintained, and contribute to the efficient running of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Setting up and running production jobs
  • Threading and machining steel components
  • Producing precision drill parts to specification
  • Maintaining quality and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience operating and programming CNC machines
  • NVQ Level 3 in CNC Machining/Programming or equivalent
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings
  • Fanuc experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Based within commuting distance of Mansfield/Nottinghamshire
