Our client, a leading provider of engineered drilling solutions, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Operator / Programmer to join their growing team in Mansfield. The Role:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality drill components and precision-engineered parts. You will work from technical drawings, ensure quality standards are maintained, and contribute to the efficient running of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Setting up and running production jobs
- Threading and machining steel components
- Producing precision drill parts to specification
- Maintaining quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating and programming CNC machines
- NVQ Level 3 in CNC Machining/Programming or equivalent
- Ability to read technical engineering drawings
- Fanuc experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Based within commuting distance of Mansfield/Nottinghamshire
