Our client is a market leader in the distribution of fresh produce, based in Evesham, Worcestershire.
Duties:
- Daily vehicle checks, reporting any damages or faults to the Transport team.
- Delivering chilled fresh produce to various destinations across the UK, including London markets.
- Deliveries and reloads, and return trips to the depot in Evesham.
- Regular checks of chilled trailer temperatures.
- Regular communication between driver and Transport Office.
- To always keep vehicle cabs clean and tidy.
- Always demonstrate a professional attitude and manner.
- Some handballing may be required from time to time.
- Single and double man runs required.
Hours:
Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Fridays weekly.
Rates of pay:
- £42k based on a 50-hour working week.
- Overtime after 50 hours paid at £18ph.
- £25 per night out payments.
- 28 days holiday.
If you wish to be considered, all applicants MUST have:
- HGV C+E Licence (Max 6 points).
- In date CPC card.
- In date Digital Tacho card.
- Clean and tidy appearance with an excellent working attitude.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Experience:
Previous experience is an advantage, but all levels will be considered.
