Warehouse Operative - Night Shift
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, movement, picking, loading, and dispatch of products within the warehouse operation. The role also supports the effective management of returned goods, ensuring all returns are processed accurately, stored correctly, and documented in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements. Working as part of the warehouse team, the Warehouse Operative plays an important role in maintaining operational efficiency, stock accuracy, customer service standards, and compliance with health, safety, food safety, and quality requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Numerate with good attention to detail.
- Valid Fork Lift Truck (FLT) licence and relevant mechanical handling equipment certification.
- Good understanding of safe manual handling technique
- Experience within temperature-controlled or food distribution.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of stock control processes.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Shift: 4 On / 4 Off - with flexibility to meet business and operational requirements
- Pay Rate: £14.20
- Own Transport due to Location
- Must have proof of Right to Work
