The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
QA Support to join our Technical team.
You'll help ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality, food safety, and customer specifications by carrying out inspections, quality checks, and supporting production throughout the packing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality inspections on incoming, in-process, and packed products.
- Monitor production to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Complete intake assessments, shelf-life testing, and positive release checks.
- Conduct routine quality control checks, including metal detection and checkweigher verification.
- Calibrate measuring equipment and prepare samples for analysis.
- Investigate and report quality issues, working closely with Production, Technical, and Allocation teams.
- Support the QA Manager and Supervisors with daily quality assurance activities.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety across the site.
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, ideally within fresh produce or food manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
