Allocation Assistant
The Role
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Allocation Assistant to support our Packhouse operations by ensuring fruit is allocated accurately and efficiently to meet customer requirements.
You'll work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Technical, and Sales teams to ensure stock is planned effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage production jobs and production orders.
- Allocate stock and materials using ERP systems to meet customer demand.
- Monitor stock levels, arrivals, and product availability.
- Prepare production documentation and labels.
- Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Technical, and Sales teams to support daily operations.
- Manage stock discrepancies, customer returns, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer specifications.
- Participate in daily planning meetings and support continuous process improvements.
About You
We're looking for someone with
- Previous experience in an allocation, planning, production, or supply chain role, ideally within fresh produce or food manufacturing.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills and experience using ERP systems (Prophet experience is desirable).
- Flexibility to work weekends, Bank Holidays, and within a chilled packhouse environment when required.
