Undertake sorting, packing or cleaning duties as directed by line management adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Co-operate with Managers and Supervisors on all Health & Safety matters.
  • Reading labels and ensuring stock is distributed to the correct areas.
  • General warehouse duties.
  • Driving a PPT Truck.
  • Moving products.
  • Take reasonable care of their Health & Safety and others.
  • Report all Health & Safety concerns, unsafe situations or unsafe practices immediately to an appropriate person.
  • Report accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses to their Manager/Supervisor and co-operate in their subsequent investigation.
  • Adhere to the company safety rules at all times and refrain from doing anything that constitutes a danger to themselves or others.
  • Ensure that any equipment issued to them, or for which they are responsible, is correctly used and properly stored.
  • Be responsible for good housekeeping in the area in which they are working.
  • Assist in packing orders following the specific customer requirements briefed at start of shift.
  • Check packaging has correct labels.
  • Clean areas as requested.
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested.

Shifts up to 11 hours per shift.

Payrate: Day Shift £12.89 - Night Shift £15.25. Overtime paid after 45 hours. Possibility of being a Temp to Perm position.
