Recruiting for Multi-Skilled Pivot Steer Driver for busy packhouse based in Dartford.
Job Summary
To carry out the safe and efficient movement of product and equipment throughout the warehouse, ripening and production operation, following defined processes and procedures, ensuring Health & Safety protocols are adhered to.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the operations under their control are, as far as is reasonably practicable, conducted without detriment to the health and safety of employees or others who may be affected by their activities.
- Co-operate with Managers and Supervisors on all Health & Safety matters.
- Use MHE as required.
- Load/unload storage areas and ripening rooms using articulated trucks.
- Unload and load vehicles following Health & Safety protocol and procedures.
- Use Microsoft D365 to receipt, move and dispatch product through the facility.
- Ensure product and equipment are supplied to production as efficiently as possible.
- Assemble product for customer orders.
- Strap, scan stock pallets and move to designated storage or assembly areas.
- Replenish packaging and ensure area is kept clean and tidy.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working within a warehouse or packing environment.
- Current or expired pivot licence or equivalent.
- Counterbalance and power pallet truck license preferable.
- Must have Proof of Right to Work.
- Day Shifts.
- Working 5 days over 7 including weekends.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Good numeracy and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude to work.
- Good understanding of English.
- Ability to work with other people.
- Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Fresh ware, D365.
This is an ongoing position with the opportunity for a temp to perm contract for the right candidate.
