URGENT HIRING: GENERAL OPERATIVE

LOCATION: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

IMPORTANT: Weekend-free schedule! Stable Monday to Friday shifts.

We are looking for reliable General Operatives to join the production at a food processing facility.

PAY & HOURS:

  • Basic Rate: £12.87 per hour
  • Overtime Rate: £19.31 per hour (paid for hours worked over 40 per week)
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday
  • AM Shift: 06:00 – 14:30
  • PM Shift: 14:30 – 23:00
  • Weekends: Always OFF

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working on production lines (packing, grading, and processing)
  • Ensuring quality standards are met on the line
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Following food safety and health & safety protocols

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic understanding of English (written and verbal)
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Punctuality and commitment to the shift schedule
