This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional with proven experience within the transport and logistics sector who understands the local market, has established relationships within the industry, and can confidently develop both clients and candidates throughout the Midlands region. The successful candidate will already have a strong knowledge of local transport companies, haulage firms, logistics operators and distribution centres operating across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, the Black Country and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Managing and growing an existing transport recruitment desk Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity Building relationships with transport managers, fleet managers and logistics decision-makers Recruiting HGV Class 1, Class 2, Van Drivers, Transport Planners, Warehouse Operatives and Logistics Professionals Conducting candidate interviews, registrations and compliance checks Advertising vacancies through various attraction channels Managing client bookings and workforce planning requirements Negotiating rates and terms of business Maintaining accurate records using CRM and recruitment systems Ensuring all compliance and legislative requirements are met What We're Looking For Essential: Previous recruitment experience within the transport and logistics sector Strong understanding of driver recruitment and transport operations Established knowledge of the local Midlands transport market Proven track record in sales and business development Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Full UK driving licence Desirable: Existing relationships with local transport and logistics businesses Experience recruiting HGV drivers and logistics personnel Knowledge of driver compliance, Working Time Directive and Driver CPC requirements Ability to generate new business and grow key accounts What You'll Receive Competitive basic salary Uncapped commission structure Performance bonuses Clear career progression opportunities Ongoing training and development Supportive and ambitious working environment Modern office location in Redditch Company incentives and rewards Why Join Us?
