This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment professional with proven experience within the transport and logistics sector who understands the local market, has established relationships within the industry, and can confidently develop both clients and candidates throughout the Midlands region. The successful candidate will already have a strong knowledge of local transport companies, haulage firms, logistics operators and distribution centres operating across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Birmingham, the Black Country and surrounding areas. Managing and growing an existing transport recruitment desk Building relationships with transport managers, fleet managers and logistics decision-makers Recruiting HGV Class 1, Class 2, Van Drivers, Transport Planners, Warehouse Operatives and Logistics Professionals Managing client bookings and workforce planning requirements Maintaining accurate records using CRM and recruitment systems Previous recruitment experience within the transport and logistics sector Strong understanding of driver recruitment and transport operations Established knowledge of the local Midlands transport market Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Full UK driving licence Existing relationships with local transport and logistics businesses Experience recruiting HGV drivers and logistics personnel Ability to generate new business and grow key accounts Competitive basic salary Performance bonuses Clear career progression opportunities Ongoing training and development Modern office location in Redditch Company incentives and rewards We are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and bring valuable local market knowledge to our business.
