Our client based in Wythall, Birmingham are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist to join their ever expanding team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operating spindle moulder, four sided planer, panel saw & bandsaw
- Working with softwood, hardwoods and sheet materials
- Serve and load customers with required materials in a safe manner
- Manual handling
- Ensuring high standards of customer service are met within the mill area
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have knowledge and understanding of timber/building products
- Able to work independently
- Ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
- FLT licence (side loader) preferred but not essential
- Experience handballing timber products
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00
