The predicted salary is between 32218 - 40000 Β£ per year.
Due to an uplift in volumes across our clients North West operations, we are looking to recruit multiple Class 1 Drivers to support ever increasing customer requirements.
Role Overview: Class 1 HGV Driver - Store Deliveries & Trunking
Shift Pattern: 5 on & 3 off on a rotational basis (flexibility on this is possible)
AM start times between 03:00 and 08:00
PM start times between 15:00 and 20:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of roller-caged goods safely and professionally
- Completion of daily vehicle checks
- Reporting vehicle defects
- Maintaining communication with the transport office
- Providing excellent customer service
- Driving responsibly
- Operating tail lifts and moving roller cages into stores
- Adhering to site-specific delivery procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred but not essential
- Valid LGV C+E licence
- Up to date CPC qualification
- Valid Tacho
- Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks
- Working knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and working time directives
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to undertake store delivery and trunking duties as required
