Responsibilities:
- Working in poly tunnels outside.
- Picking strawberries carefully.
- Placing picked strawberries in punnets so as not to crush them.
- Transporting crates of picked strawberries to assigned field areas.
- Husbandry work includes weeding, removing flowers, pulling up polythene and many other jobs.
Work pattern: Sunday to Friday; Saturday off. Possible 5 days on rota, average 8 hours per day, 30‑45 min unpaid breaks.
Pay: Season starts in May and the rate is £12.71 per hour plus bonuses depending on performance.
Requirements: No former experience required as training is provided on site. Must have proof of Right to Work in the UK.
Accommodation: On‑site accommodation available in caravans for 4‑6 people per caravan. Cost £77.70 per week.
