We are recruiting for a versatile, energetic, and motivated individual to join our client based in Wythall on a 12 week temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic background in woodworking or machining, or simply a strong passion to learn and develop practical skills on the job. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is eager to build a career in woodworking and machining.
Pay: £12.71ph
Hours of work: 07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating woodworking machinery including planers and re-saws
- Cutting and processing both softwoods and hardwoods
- Handling and cutting sheet materials to specification
- Assisting and serving both trade and retail customers
- Loading, unloading, and organising materials using a forklift
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

- Some experience or interest in woodworking or machining (preferred but not essential)
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
