Looking for your next step in financial outsourcing? If you're confident managing a portfolio of clients, reviewing work, and acting as a trusted advisor to growing businesses - this could be the role that moves your career forward. I'm working with a high-performing outsourcing firm based in Milton Park (OX14) that's experiencing rapid growth. They're now looking to appoint an Outsourcing Senior to help lead client delivery and support the development of more junior staff.

You'll join a driven, collaborative team made up of people from Big 4, top-tier, and boutique backgrounds. The work is fast-paced, client-facing, and full of variety - ideal if you enjoy ownership and relationship-building.

What you'll be doing:

  • This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll manage a portfolio of SME clients across the financial services and investment management sectors.
  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts, VAT returns, and FCA reporting.
  • Overseeing year-end financial statements, P11Ds, and PSAs.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and strategic advice.
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and supporting their development.
  • Streamlining processes and helping to drive internal improvements.

What makes this role different?

You'll have real autonomy in how you manage your clients, while being fully supported by a knowledgeable and approachable team. The firm is fast-paced but never chaotic - decisions are made quickly, and high performance is recognised.

Work setup:

The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

What they're looking for:

You'll be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with solid outsourcing experience - ideally in a multi-client environment. You'll be confident reviewing work, managing client expectations, and mentoring junior colleagues. Experience in financial services is a bonus, but not essential.

If you're based within a commutable distance of Milton Park (e.g. Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford, Reading), and ready to take the reins in a growing, high-trust environment, this could be the move you've been waiting for.

As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to apply and would encourage you to let us know if there are steps we can take to ensure that your recruitment process enables you to present yourself in a way that makes you comfortable.
