What you will be doing as an Accounting Services Manager:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements (SFS)
  • Delivery of outsourced accounting services to a range of clients
  • Supporting clients through secondments where additional resource is required
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts
  • Managing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts for international clients
  • Providing advisory support on:
    • Statutory accounting and compliance requirements
    • Improvements to financial reporting processes and cycles

What you will need to succeed as an Accounting Services Manager:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to work from first principles
  • Good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS, with some awareness of US GAAP
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Experience working in practice or a client-facing environment
  • Highly organised and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop junior team members
