Accounts Assistant Manager An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant / experienced Accounts Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice, working as an Assistant Manager across a varied portfolio of clients. The role would suit an ACA, CA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong experience gained within an accountancy practice, particularly someone who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses (OMBs) and wants to take the next step in their career. What you will be doing as an Assistant Manager - Accounts Preparing statutory accounts for a range of companies, from small businesses through to medium and larger organisations Preparing accounts under FRS 102, including group accounts and consolidations Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client contacts Acting as a key point of contact for clients and providing an efficient, proactive service Supporting and developing junior members of the team, helping them strengthen their technical accounting skills Monitoring budgets and proactively managing costs across individual assignments Organising your own workload and supporting the wider team to ensure deadlines are met What you will need to succeed as an Assistant Manager - Accounts ACA, CA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification Previous experience working within an accountancy practice or professional services environment Strong experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses Commercial awareness and experience monitoring costs against budgets A proactive approach with a strong focus on delivering a high-quality client service aThe ability and willingness to support and develop more junior members of the team Be part of a high-growth, ambitious firm backed by significant private investment.
