Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for agriculture, rural business and client-focused advisory work?
We are currently recruiting for a Client Accounts Manager to join an established Farms & Estates team based in Staverton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant to work with a diverse portfolio of farmers, landowners and rural businesses, providing a broad range of accounts, tax and advisory services.
The team works with clients across the rural sector, including agricultural enterprises, rural estates and landowners, food production and agribusinesses, and equestrian businesses.

Your role as a Client Accounts Manager:
- Managing a mixed portfolio of rural and agricultural clients
- Overseeing the preparation and completion of annual accounts and business tax computations.
- Providing advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
- Advising clients on capital taxes and reviewing VAT returns.
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to add value through tax planning and broader commercial advice.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
- Representing the organisation at client and industry events.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You must be ACA Qualified with post qualification experience
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working with agricultural, rural or farming businesses or a keen interest in the sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proven ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
- A sound working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
- A proactive, commercial approach and the ability to identify opportunities to support clients beyond their core accounting requirements.
