Your role as an Accounts & Advisory Manager:
- Managing a portfolio of law firm clients and overseeing all aspects of their accounting and advisory requirements.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, responding to day-to-day queries and providing proactive advice.
- Supervising assignments delivered remotely, from the office, and occasionally at client premises.
- Leading and supporting advisory projects including practice restructures, valuations, mergers, acquisitions, and succession planning.
- Working closely with specialist tax colleagues on compliance and planning matters where required.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
- Conducting performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and supporting training and development initiatives.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the legal services team.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP, Companies Act requirements, and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage team members effectively.
- Experience working with law firms would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.
