The Role – Audit Senior
- Lead audits from planning through to completion
- Supervise and review the work of junior team members
- Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards
- Assess risk and evaluate internal controls
- Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard
This is a hands-on Audit Senior position where you'll be trusted to run your own jobs and make decisions.
What You’ll Need
- Experience working in an accountancy practice in an audit-focused role
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Experience leading audits and managing workflow
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
- Either ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Exposure to more complex areas such as group audits, acquisitions, IFRS or restructures would be beneficial.
