A leading and rapidly growing practice is seeking an Audit Director with RI status to join their team in Borehamwood. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in a forward-thinking and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Partners to deliver a high-quality external audit service to a diverse portfolio of SME clients, playing a key role in shaping the future of the audit offering in the region. What you will be doing as an Audit Director:

  • Act as RI signatory on audit files and provide robust technical oversight
  • Lead on firm-wide audit compliance and technical queries
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality audits to clients in the SME sector
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as their go-to advisor
  • Develop and manage a high-performing audit team, serving as a motivational role model
  • Identify and provide added-value services to clients
  • Play an active role in business development, winning new work and supporting office growth

What you will need to succeed as an Audit Director:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with RI status
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs
  • Proven track record in leading audit teams and managing clients
  • Commercially minded and client-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and modern cloud-based systems
  • A self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively and driving progress
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car
