We're recruiting for an established and highly regarded professional services firm in Central London, seeking an Assistant Accounts Manager to join their Corporate Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse client base, from premium hospitality and property groups to international corporates and well-known names in music, entertainment, and sport.
What you will be doing as an Assistant Accounts Manager
- Manage all aspects of accounts preparation, including reviewing accounts files and financial statements disclosures.
- Supervise and oversee work conducted by both offshore and in-house teams.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members.
- Delegate tasks clearly and manage workloads effectively across multiple projects.
- Oversee workflow scheduling to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
- Liaise with tax and other departments for seamless service delivery.
- Maintain client relationships, resolving queries and ensuring exceptional service.
- Assist with management reporting and special projects as required.
- Monitor WIP and keep senior managers informed of issues or overruns.
What you will need to succeed as an Assistant Accounts Manager
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102 1a and FRS 105).
- Skilled in accounting software (CaseWare Accounts, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Confident managing and developing junior staff.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple jobs under time and budget constraints.
- Strong commercial and risk awareness.
