Corporate Tax Senior Manager
Pro Tax is working with a respected and growing accountancy and advisory practice looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, lead complex advisory and compliance projects, develop high-performing teams, and play a key role in the continued growth of the tax function.
The role offers a clear progression pathway, with genuine opportunities to work towards Director and ultimately Partner level.
The Role
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will act as a trusted adviser to a broad range of corporate clients, overseeing the delivery of both compliance and advisory services while helping to drive the strategic growth of the practice.
You'll work closely with clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical advice, identify opportunities for added value, and support the development of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients and act as their primary point of contact.
Lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments.
Provide commercially focused tax planning and strategic advice.
Review complex tax work and ensure a high standard of technical quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members and future leaders.
Collaborate with colleagues across service lines on complex client matters.
Keep up to date with legislative changes and communicate opportunities and risks to clients.
Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to win new work.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, ATT qualified status, or be qualified by experience.
Strong corporate tax compliance and advisory experience gained within practice.
Experience managing client portfolios and leading complex tax assignments.
Proven ability to review technical work and provide practical, commercial advice.
Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
