Finance Analyst | Interim 10 months + | Berkshire | £36.00 P/hr Umbrella Co.
For a government organisation based in Berkshire, we are recruiting an interim Finance Analyst for 10-months. Working within a specific division, the Finance Analyst will be customer-facing and key in the analysis and interpretation of financial information for stakeholder decision-making.
Main Duties:
- Working with stakeholders on a regular basis to help them understand financial information for decision-making
- Provision of financial analysis and data
- Ensure stakeholders and budget holders comply with financial processes and the internal finance control and governance framework is in place
- Identify and implement process improvement activities
- Work closely with colleagues to support a high-performing team
- Occasional training and development of Finance Analysts / Graduates
Person Specification:
- Previous Government, Security, Nuclear, or Defence experience
- Part-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant
- Experience within an FP&A, budgeting, management information and business planning team
- Experience in partnering with a range of stakeholders
- Experience with Oracle Fusion and advanced Excel is desirable
