My client is a newly established privately owned boutique guest house business who are currently looking to recruit a Hotel Business Manager. They currently have 2 properties, a 12 bedroom Boutique Guest House in the Isle of Man and a 5 bedroom Villa in Palma Mallorca. The ambition is to grow the portfolio over the coming years.
A newly established position, the Business Manager role will oversee all the commercial aspects of the properties, including:
- Marketing
- Advising on the current product offering and how it can be improved.
- Identifying the best marketing channels for the property, Booking.com, Airbnb, 3rd Party Event organisers etc.
- Pricing.
- Managing reservations
- Managing all communications with regards to reservations and any issues that come up.
- Procurement
- Sourcing all products and organising deliveries.
- Maintenance and Cleaning
- Co-ordinating the maintenance and cleaning teams.
The role would ideally suit an ambitious and dynamic individual who is looking for an opportunity which can provide high levels of autonomy and range of responsibilities. A hospitality graduate with 3 - 7 years experience in a managerial role within a hotel would be ideal, experience of all aspects of running a hotel. The person needs to be structured, confident and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing. The position can be based in the Isle of Man or the UK, preferably Liverpool or Manchester.
