My client is a leading construction sector service based business with a large depot in the South West of London. The role requires an analytical individual who is structured with good communication skills. The role has recently been created and there are excellent opportunities for the future with the company expanding rapidly.
The position of Stock & Logistics Manager holds responsibility for the scheduling of all vehicles and labour and the successful upkeep of the stock control system ensuring its accuracy. The Stock & Logistics Manager will be responsible for the stock movements within these depots and reporting it into the Head of Operations utilising the stock control system and associated reports.
The role includes direct line management of the field based teams and Logistics department. The Stock & Logistics Manager will have oversight of all logistics based functions and will provide operational cover as per the requirements of the business.
