As we continue to grow, we're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help expand our network of agency partners, venue relationships and corporate event clients.
The Role
This is not a desk-based sales role.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships within the events industry and can open doors with agencies, venues and event professionals.
You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating meetings, developing partnerships and helping convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across agencies, venues and corporate event clients.
- Develop relationships with event agencies, producers and account directors.
- Secure meetings with venue sales managers and venue management teams.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry events.
- Conduct prospect research and outreach through phone, email and Linked In.
- Work closely with our production team to understand capabilities and opportunities.
- Manage and update CRM records.
- Support proposal and tender opportunities.
- Identify partnership opportunities with venues and agencies.
