Pro-Drive Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator on behalf of an established and growing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual looking to develop their career within a busy operations environment.
The role will provide administrative support across logistics and purchasing, working closely with customers, suppliers, internal teams and external logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration support across logistics and purchasing.
- Coordinate courier, pallet, haulage and specialist vehicle bookings.
- Track deliveries, obtain PODs and follow up outstanding shipments.
- Investigate delivery issues, damages, shortages and service failures.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, branches and logistics partners to resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate transport, purchasing and logistics records.
- Support KPI reporting, route planning and vehicle compliance administration.
- Monitor purchase orders and chase outstanding deliveries.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stock counts and inventory analysis.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and monitor slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and purchasing activities.
- Assist with continuous improvement and operational projects.
About You
