We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy pallet distribution operation based in Middlewich.
This is a Monday to Friday, 07:30 start role involving multi-drop pallet deliveries to businesses and distribution centres, with collections also forming part of the day's work.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include
- Multi-drop pallet deliveries
- Deliveries to businesses and distribution centres
- Collections from customers and network sites
- Using a tail lift and pump truck to unload pallets
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining PODs
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Securing loads correctly
- Providing professional customer service
The number of drops can vary depending on the route and daily workload.
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 experience
- Multi-drop experience preferred
- Comfortable using a pump truck and tail lift
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional approach to driving and deliveries
