Job Title: Furniture Assembler Pay: £13.00 per hour Job Description Job Overview Pro Drive Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and reliable Furniture Assembler to join their team. The role involves assembling a variety of furniture items with precision and care, ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards. The work will be based across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Derbyshire, depending on client requirements. Key Responsibilities * Assemble furniture using hand tools and power tools in accordance with instructions and specifications. * Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams and technical drawings. * Carry out quality checks to ensure furniture is assembled safely and correctly. * Safely lift, carry and move furniture components and assembled items. * Work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Requirements * Previous experience in furniture assembly or a similar hands-on role. * Confident using hand tools and power tools. * Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting safely. * Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift and move materials throughout the working day. * Experience in construction, removals or furniture manufacturing would be advantageous. Contract Details * Pay: £13.00 per hour * Duration: Temporary, initially expected to last 4–6 weeks * Future opportunities: There may be opportunities for further work depending on client requirements and performance.
