Salary: £16.00 – £23.70 per hour (depending on shift)
We are a leading recruitment agency working on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable logistics provider based in the Foston area of Derbyshire. Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are now recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for ongoing work across day, night, and weekend shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking consistent work, competitive pay, and minimal manual handling.
The Role: HGV Class 1 Driver
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- General haulage operations within a pallet network
- Driving curtain-sided vehicles
- Completing DC-to-DC deliveries and collections
- Handling up to 3 drops/collections per shift (maximum)
- Opening and closing curtains for forklift loading and unloading
- Ensuring safe and timely deliveries in line with company procedures
Minimal handball involved – the majority of loads are forklifted on and off.
